Reiser Stables has a full service horseback riding lesson program catering to individuals who would like to learn to horse back ride or drive horses or take their skills of horseback riding/driving to the next level.
Students of all ages, (starting at 4), are accepted for horse back riding lessons, and all levels of abilities from no experience to advanced riders/drivers who would like to hone their skills.
Reiser Stables specializes in Saddleseat Horseback Riding lessons - a form of English riding - and Equitation - the art of horse and rider working as a uniform team. We also compete at horse shows in the Hunt Seat & Western Discipline.
With a team of professionals who hold a combined experience of over 70 years of Training, Horse Showing, and Horseback Riding Lesson Experience - they can take you and accomplish your goals.
Ryan Stodd leads our horse back riding lesson program, and with his excitement, knowledge, and dedication you won't receive a better horse back riding or driving lesson in Kentucky.
From our horseback lesson program we can take you to compete and show at a local level or guide you on a path to the National and World Championship level.
Through the last few years, our students have started horse back riding lessons and moved up the Reiser Stables Lesson program to compete and remain undefeated at local horse shows, win National Championships, and World Championships.
Horse back riding students have ranged from 6-70!
Horseback lessons are ususally arranged on a private basis for 30 minutes per lesson, but group lessons are also available.
Horse back Lessons can be scheduled at dedicated times, or can vary throughout the week dependent on your needs.
Horseback Riding Lessons can be scheduled Monday-Saturday.
Monday-Friday, lessons are usually 4-7pm, but can be scheduled later that 7pm by appointment.
Saturday lessons can be scheduled by appointment.
A 24 hour cancellation policy is appreciated for all horse back riding lessons.
We take safety seriously for all our horseback riders, and we match the horse they receive based upon their skill level.
Helmets are available for those students who would like to use them.
Attire Suggested for Horseback lessons:
• A Sturdy Shoe/Boot - No Sandals, or Open Toed Shoes
• Comfortable Soft Pants - jeans are acceptable as well
~ most our riders utilize jods - a pant that has a suede inner lining to help

For our horseback riding lessons, we have an indoor, heated riding arena to accomodate for all types of weather, and an outdoor arena to take advantage of the beautiful weather. We also have an indoor heated/air conditioned viewing area for our clients' comfort.
Horse back riding lessons start at $35 per half an hour, but a package of 10 can be purchased for $300.
Checks, Cash & Credit Cards are accepted for these horseback riding lessons.
We can also provide gift certificates for those special occassions, and will mail a certificate to you for the presentation you request.
